Complex of services in ship’s agency, forwarding and freight. Function: 1. Controlled over well-timed customs clearance of the cargo. 2. Cooperated with administrations of ports, administrated the activities of ship agents in order to provide timely ship and loading operations. 3. Carried out duties of chartering broker: negotiating of charter-parties in accordance with export plan, monitoring of motor vessels during the whole sailing line, business communication with shipowners and charterers. 4. Coordinated the stevedoring companies and the ships’ crews during the loading operations. 5. Executed claim activities with shipowners over imposed demurrage penalties as well as survey companies over quality and quantity of discharged lots. 6. Supervised activities of 3 employees of shipping department of LLC “Constanta” and 10-15 employees of partner companies. Progress: 1. Realized the export plan timely, accurately and in accordance with the charterers’ requirements (20000 – 70000 mts of steel scrap per month). 2. Outreached new shipowner companies. 3. Due to negotiating about 70-80% of charter-parties with profitable freight rate and as a result of successful claim activities have kept the charterers’ funds (about 700 000 USD during the whole period of work). 4. Taught several newcomer employees, consulted directors of partner companies concerning the freight activities. Reason of leave: termination of steel scrap export by the general partner and as a result - reduce or sometimes even absence of shipment volume.

Foreign economic activities (export of steel scrap). Customs clearance specialist of shipping department (full-time schedule) Function: 1. Carried out customs clearance formalities: preparation of documents for cargo customs declarations, sanitary-epidemiological conclusions, chamber of commerce & industry certificates, issue and signing of cargo documents (Shipping order, Bill of Lading, Manifest & etc.). 2. Cooperated with ship agencies. 3. Planned the financial means for payment of customs duties and fees. 4. Estimated and optimized ship lots in accordance with export plan, the cargo left at the producing-procuring areas in ports and volumes of steel scrap procuring. 5. Carried out duties of chartering broker. Progress: 1. Provided delay-free process of steel scrap export (upto 100 000 mts per month) without extra expenses for demurrage payment. 2. Approved myself as effective troubleshooter on the results of business trips to the branches of the company. 3. Gained valuable experience of cooperation with customs and certification authorities, learnt the ropes of charter broker activities. Reason of leave: intention in further growth as a specialist of higher level.

Air-freight services in coordination with leading world airlines. Function: 1. Carried out customs clearance formalities (export, import, transit). 2. Reserved the cargo on flight. 3. Filled out air waybill (AWB). 4. Warehoused the cargo. 5. Consulted the customers about the rates, flights, delivery time of cargo and etc. 6. Calculated the price of air-freight, concluded air-freight contracts. Progress: 1. Carried out well-timed customs clearance of the cargo satisfying the customers’ demands and earning profit for the company. 2. Always tried to contribute in optimization and development of company’s activities. 3. Gained a good experience at the position of customs clearance specialist which is in demand in “civvies street”.
